Murchison Falls

The Nile squeezes through an 8m wide gorge plunging with a thunderous roar producing a rainbow. The waterfall found on the course of the great Nile breaks the stunning Victoria Nile that flows across the Northern region from the broad Lake Victoria to the deep Kyoga onto Lake Albert within the great East African rift. The river provides an exceptional wildlife display; the riverbanks have guests like the waterbucks, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, the crocodiles, hippos these are permanent residents.
