Founded in 2012 by Irene Oryema, Pride Nature Safaris is a Ugandan tour operator specializing in thoughtfully designed, tailor-made journeys across Uganda.
Pride Nature Safaris was founded from a genuine passion for travel and a deep appreciation for Uganda's natural and cultural heritage. Over the years, we have developed extensive knowledge of Uganda's national parks, wildlife, landscapes, communities and tourism experiences. This local knowledge allows us to design journeys that are not only well organized, but also personal, authentic and memorable.
We understand that planning a safari can be overwhelming. From choosing the right destinations and accommodation to arranging transportation, activities and permits, there are many details to consider. Our role is to take care of those details while you focus on enjoying your journey.
A passion that started at home. Our connection to tourism began long before Pride Nature Safaris was established. Irene's passion for Uganda's wildlife and tourism was deeply influenced by her father, Chris P. Oryema, who dedicated more than 25 years to Uganda's tourism industry, including his work as a tourism specialist with the Uganda Wildlife Authority. His passion for Uganda's wildlife, nature and conservation left a lasting impression and continues to inspire our commitment to sharing the beauty of Uganda with travelers from around the world.
