3 Days Uganda – Mighty Murchison Falls Tour

Day to Day Itinerary Details


Day 1: Entebbe/Kampala to Murchison Falls

Depart Kampala and proceed to the next highlight of your tour in Uganda. The drive to the beautiful Murchison Falls National Park takes about 5 hours from Kampala via Masindi offering you great sceneries. When you get inside the park, take lunch at the hotel, and thereafter cross the ferry to enjoy a game drive, giving you a great opportunity of seeing Elephants, giraffes, hippos, and a wide range of birdlife.

Stay: Pakuba Safari Lodge

Day 2: Game drive and a boat ride on the Nile

After breakfast, embark on an extensive game drive in one of the oldest wildlife conservancies in East Africa with a wide range of animals in the Nile Valley. You will marvel at herds of buffalos, dozens of elephants, warthogs, and towering giraffes, along with bushbucks, reedbuck, duikers, kobs, oribi, and many more.

In the afternoon, take a boat cruise towards the falls where the NILE waters drop 43m through a 7m wide gorge at the bottom bask huge Nile Crocodiles, Hippos in the water, Elephants, and Buffalos besides plain game on the shore. Later we return to the Lodge for dinner

Approx: 2-4hour game drive

Approx: 45-1hour walk to the top of the falls

Day 3: Return to Kampala/Entebbe
After an early breakfast, you will start your journey back to Kampala, you may choose to stop at the Ziwa sanctuary as an optional activity this is a wildlife project that was concerned with the reintroduction of white Rhinos that were once declared extinct. You will have time to take some photos on the way with a quick lunch break. Later arrival in Kampala
